This weeks topic: WAREZ Webmasters
Hello all and welcome to another offense-filled installment of Pooh "T"'s Commentary. My latest gripe: WAREZ Webmasters.
For those of you out there who are unfamiliar with the particulars of a so-called WAREZ Site, let me give you a quick tutorial. The purpose of a WAREZ Site is to provide links to commercial (and usually expensive) software programs for free. Want Windows 98 but don�t want to pay for it? Try looking for it on a WAREZ Site. Since the pages "only provide the links" and none of these pirated files "reside on their server" they can claim no responsibility for you downloading this copyrighted (not to mention illegal) software. You can find applications, utilities, programs, cracks (little programs that make the "trial version" of a program you have think you bought the "full" and "licensed" version), etc. At least this was the original concept behind WAREZ Sites. An excellent (if not slightly illegal) way for computer aficionados to share various programs and software without every damn person in the free world paying for it. Hell, Bill fucking Gates doesn't need everyone�s money does he?
Nowadays, Warez sites have evolved. Although, not necessarily for the good. Now, within any WAREZ Site you can find viruses (little files some dickless loser uses to attack your computer and cause it to "forget" it has a hard drive or something similar), XXX passwords (passwords to hacked XXX sites where you can enter for free and see all the scattered ass on the Internet. Although most of it is either too slow to download or is scanned from some 1984 copy of Penthouse), FTP areas (online depositories for pirated files that are harder to access than a CIA "noc" list), or Direct Downloads (areas where the pirated files are stored on the same server as the links to these files. Which in itself should attach legal liability to these assholes) just to name a few. But hey, I have no problem with any of these aspects of a WAREZ Site. My problem is with the WAREZ Site Webmasters. Its all about money now.
These sites are littered with sponsors' (mostly XXX sites) banners, click thru logos, and "Top Site" programs. Each and every last one designed to make these greedy little webmaster shits a buck so they can only "pay for their server space." Well to all these "needy" people I salute you with a big "FUCK OFF!" These sons-a-bitches fill each and every page with enough fucking pop-up windows and banners to make even the fastest computer just say "oh screw it, I think ill crash." Then they hide their damn files from you. On the opening page you see ten or twenty "ENTER HERE" logos, "GET APPS HERE", "THE BEST WAREZ HERE", etc. You click on them expecting to see these great files they promised. But where does your duped ass wind up? One of these fucking sponsors or top 50 sites, thereby allowing this webmaster to move up on these Top Sites lists, or even worse, making this fuck 9 or 10 cents from some sponsor. Everywhere you click you are tricked into somehow voting or paying this webmaster. After 10 or 15 tries most web surfers give up. But who cares, you just made the asshole a dollar or so and moved him up 5 or 6 places on the Top 100 list. And believe me, there are about 100,000 surfers a day right behind you to do the exact same thing. All in all the real files are harder to find then turning on The Weather Channel and actually seeing your fucking local forecast. Instead its some map charting the tree spore counts in southwest Arkansas. What the hell is that all about?
Which brings me to my final point. Can you guess who you are giving all this money to? It sure as hell isn't some minimum wage earning, middle-aged husband trying to pay a mortgage and put two kids through college. Oh No. Its some fucking seventeen-year-old suburban white little wannabe gangster bitch. Go look at a WAREZ Site. You'll see shit like..."Welcome to Da Boyz WAREZ Hideoutz! We got all the Appz, Crackz, XXX Pussy Passwordz and Filez you want." What a joke. You got DJ Jazzy "Eugene" here on his fucking mom and dads computer making money off of our stupidity. Now, we have all heard of the ruthless "Eugene". He's the hardcore gangster that runs with the "Crabtree Valley Mall Crew" out of the rough and tough 'hood known as "Forest Hills" in Newport, Rhode Island. Give me a fucking break. Someone cram a damn dictionary up his Tupac Shakur worshipping ass. Hey dickhead! When the lyrics to the song say things like "...kill Whitey..."! That�s you , you illiterate fuck.!
All in all the original intent of WAREZ sites has been obliterated by the greed of these suburban, (to use a Jerry Springer term) "wiggers". Go see for yourself. Visit a Warez Site and you will see what I an talking about. By the way, if you happen to find the actual files, drop the webmaster an email. Tell him Pooh "T" sent you.
